Ozark Gourd Patch

Carolyn Owen hosts our Ozark Gourd Patch meetings at her home in Rogersville, east of Springfield, Mo. Meetings start at 1:00 PM and go until 4 PM. Members range from beginners to master gourd artists sharing tips and techniques to practice new skills. There is no charge for membership.
Four times each year we enjoy educational workshop topics that can range from pyrography or gourd carving to ink dying, painting, sculpting, and fancy embellishments such as edge weaving or coiling. We welcome new ideas. We might make decorative items, fine art, whimsy, or functional items. Members bring their own tools and materials. Workshops are taught by members, and are usually free, unless there is a nominal charge for the cost of materials supplied by an instructor.

If you would like information about joining the Ozark Gourd Patch, or request to be put on the mailing list for workshop announcements, please email Barbara Van Vleck (VanVleck@ymail.com), our communications coordinator. Be sure to write “Ozark Gourd Patch” in the subject line.
